Ah Jie (Dong Zi Jian), Xiao Bo (Karry Wang), and Tong Tong (Dilraba Dilmurat), childhood friends and street-smart orphans, seek refuge in an abandoned general store after causing trouble. Discovering a mysterious magical mailbox, they begin responding to letters addressed to the store's former owner, Namiya (Jackie Chan), unexpectedly connecting with pen pals from 30 years in the past. As they exchange correspondence, the trio unravels the stories of another group of orphans from the 1990s, gradually understanding how these strangers' lives mysteriously intersect with their own present. Through this extraordinary communication, they learn profound lessons about connection, empathy, and the unexpected ways lives can intertwine across time. This is a 2017 Chinese fantasy film adapted from Keigo Higashino's novel "Miracles of the Namiya General Store" and directed by Han Jie.
