Zhang Yao is a Chinese singer and actress who was born in Beijing, China, on November 18, 1980. In 2000, she won a talent contest screened by TV network CCTV. She released her debut EP, entitled “House of Love,” in May 2002. She began acting in 2008, and has appeared in a wide variety of films and television dramas since, including “Oh My General” (2017), “Somewhere Winter” (2019), “God of Lost Fantasy” (2020), “You Are My Hero” (2021), and “The Crack of Dawn” (2022).
