Eiji Akaso, formerly known as Mamoru Akaso, is a Japanese actor and model. He was born on March 1, 1994 in Osaka Prefecture, Japan and made his debut in the entertainment world in 2010 as a member of the idol group, Boys and Men. In 2015, he made his debut as an actor and has appeared in various films and television dramas since, including “Hey Sensei, Don’t You Know?” (2019).

Ridiculed for her bird and her quiet nature, Ninon might very well have spent the entirety of her high school career under attack, had not her classmate and neighbor, Yuiji Kira (Taishi Nakagawa), unexpectedly intervened.

Easily the most handsome and popular boy in school, Yuiji spent his high school days harassing other students and dating any girl who happened to catch his eye. But beneath his cool exterior, Yuiji was desperately lonely. Suffering from a serious heart disease, Yuiji has only a year left to live but he refuses to tell anyone of his grim fate. Based on the manga of the same name by Rin Mikimoto, “Today’s Kira-kun” is a 2017 romantic high school film directed by Taisuke Kawamura.
