Leo, born Jung Taek Woon, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born in Seoul, South Korea on November 10, 1990 and made his debut in the entertainment world in 2012 when he participated in the Mnet survival reality program, MyDOL. As one of the six finalists, he debuted as a member of Jellyfish Entertainment’s first idol group, VIXX, that same year. In 2013, he made his first cameo appearance in a television drama. In 2014, he landed his first role in a theatrical production. In 2015, he debuted as one half of the VIXX sub-unit, VIXX LR, alongside band-mate, Ravi, and in 2018, he released his first solo EP. Along with his group activities, he has been extremely active in the theater, taking on several roles over the years. In addition, he has appeared on a variety of reality programs, including “Asia, Where VIXX Loves” (2017).
