Yosuke Sugino is a Japanese actor born on September 18, 1995, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. He scooped the top prize at the Fine Boys Model Audition Grand Prix event and made his acting debut in 2016, playing a role in the hit TV drama series “Pretty Proofreader.” He followed up the following year with a lead role in “The Flower and the Beast Season 1” (2017). He also made his movie debut in 2017, appearing in “Kiseki: Sobito of that Day.” In 2018, he appeared in the film “Waiting for Spring.” Most recently, he has starred in the movie “Iwane: Sword of Serenity” (2019) and the drama series “Scams” (2019).

When Shizuku Tachibana (Yuko Araki), Yori Suzuki (Ryo Yoshizawa), and Subaru Tojo (Yosuke Sugino) were young children, they were firm friends with a shared dream: They all wanted to become famous.

But as they grew older, their families moved away and they lost contact with one another.

Celebrity dreams have come true for two of the three, with Shizuku Tachibana now a successful model and Subaru Tojo embarking on an acting career. Only Yori Suzuki has failed to make it big. Now a high school student, he decides he will stop at nothing in his quest to also become a star – and also reunite with Shizuku Tachibana, as he harbors a secret admiration for her.

He manages to transfer to the school she attends and also manages to land a role as a production assistant on a commercial she is shooting. By a stroke of luck, he manages to appear in the ad – developing phenomenal popularity overnight as a result.

Can he capitalize on his sudden success, and find a way to win Shizuku Tachibana’s heart – even after Subaru Tojo (who also has feelings for her) reappears on the scene?

This drama was based on a 2014 manga series of the same name.

Two Lovers Team

As students of dentistry at the local university, Hide (Masaki Suda), Navi (Ryusei Yokohama), Kuni (Ryo Narita), and Soh (Yosuke Sugino) were probably the least likely group of guys to come to mind, when anyone mentioned music. Just another group of average university students, living their average university lives, these four friends spent their days much the same as anyone else their age. Or did they?

While the world saw Hide, Navi, Kuni, and Soh as nothing more than a group of dental school students, the reality of their lives was quite different. Forming a band several years ago, the four friends had met with unexpected success after the independent release of their first album. Picked up by a major record label not long after, the band soon found its music topping the charts. But being successful doesn’t automatically make life easy. Struggling to find balance between family and friends, school and work, the four friends now find themselves wondering where things will go from here.&nbsp;

Working hard on their latest track, “Kiseki”, the band finds themselves forced to make some difficult decisions. Will the struggles they’re facing now turn out to be worth it in the end?&nbsp;

Based on the true story of the Japanese vocal group, GReeeeN, “Kiseki -Sobito of That Day-” is a 2017 film directed by Atsushi Kaneshige.
