Jeongyeon is a South Korean singer and TV personality who was born on November 1, 1996, in&nbsp;Suwon,&nbsp;Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. She first made a name for herself when she appeared on the 2015 audition-based reality TV show “Sixteen” (2015). She finished the contest in the top nine, and went on to become a founding member of the all-female K-pop group TWICE. The group released its first EP,&nbsp;“The Story Begins” in October 2015. She went on to present the K-pop show “Inkigayo” from 2016 to 2017 and in 2016 appeared on the variety show “Law of the Jungle.”
