Kim Sung Cheol is a South Korean actor. Born on December 31, 1991, he made his acting debut in the 2017-2018 television drama “Prison Playbook.” He also has appeared in the film “Rose of Betrayal” (2018) and the television drama “To. Jenny” (2018).

Partially blind, Kyung Soo (Ryu Jun Yeol) struggles to see during the day, but his skill as an acupuncturist has earned him the attention of the palace. The year is 1950, and much of South Korea has fallen to invading armies from the North.

Southern forces, in conjunction with the American military, are planning an audacious bid to recapture the port of Incheon from the sea.

However, the allied generals believe that if they are to be successful in Incheon, they will need a diversion – to draw North Korean forces away from the heavily defended port.

The allied military hatches a plan. They will send a group of 772 raw, young recruits, including lowly private Choi Sung Pil (Choi Minho) and led by inexperienced commander Lee Myung Joon (Kim Myung Min), to Jansari, a beach in North Gyeongsang Province. The operation is top secret, and generals privately do not expect the soldiers to return alive.
