Eleanor Lee is a Singaporean model, actress and singer based in China. She was born on October 12, 1999, in Singapore to actress Quan Yi Fong and former actor Peter Yu. Her parents divorced in 2009, and in 2013, Eleanor adopted the surname of her godfather, celebrity hairstylist Addy Lee. Eleanor began modeling for Addy Lee’s company at a young age and then launched her career after appearing in the microfilm “The Old Record” for Apple’s China branch in 2014. She has since appeared in a number of television dramas, including “The Big Boss” (2017), “Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy” (2017) and “My Poseidon” (2018). She also released her first song, which was the theme song to the television drama “Noble Aspirations,” in 2016 and has released several singles since.

A young, 22-year-old pop star hopeful named Nuan Nuan (Eleanor Lee) is forced to reinvent herself after the girl group she is a member of disbands before its debut.

At first, she struggles in her search for a post-pop career, but fate intervenes, and she has a chance encounter with a man named Han Che (Leon Leong).

Han Che is a cold but successful sound and lighting engineer who also has an excellent memory. 

However, one day he experiences a rare lapse in memory – a lapse that could threaten to throw his relationship with Naun Naun into doubt. 

Regardless, Han Che’s success inspires Nuan Nuan, who has always had a keen eye for fashion.

Nie Xiao Qian (Eleanor Lee) is part of a group of female ghosts who are bound to serve a cruel spirit that feeds on the souls of men. The siren-like ghosts bring men to their haunted liar, ply them with alcohol, seduce them – and then let the spirit feast on their souls.

But Nie Xiao Qian didn’t figure on meeting a man like the bumbling, but pure-hearted apprentice scholar Ning Cai Chen (Chen Xing Xu). This man is forced to spend the night at an abandoned temple on his way to take an important exam.

At first, she plans to seduce him and offer his soul up to the spirit, but is eventually taken in by his quirky charms.

Eventually, Ning Cai Chen learns who she really is – and discovers that the spirit is planning to marry her off to an evil demon. He starts to fall in love with her, and resolves to save her from this terrible fate!

This movie is adapted from a novel by Pu Song Ling, which also spawned a 1987 Hong Kong movie version.
