Cha Soon Bae is a South Korean actor who was born on October 23, 1972, in Seoul, South Korea. He debuted in 2003, when he starred in the movie “Be Strong, Geum Soon Ah.” He followed up with a role in the international hit film “Sympathy for Lady Vengeance” (2005) and has since gone on to appear in a number of hit movies, such as “The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil” (2019). His more recent drama credits include “Memorist” in 2020 and 2022’s “Mental Coach Jegal.”

Gil Je Gal (Jung Woo) is a former member of the South Korean national Taekwondo team. But when he is caught up in a scandal, he is kicked off the team and permanently banned from returning as an athlete. He is reluctant to turn his back on the world of sports, however, so has become a “mental coach” – a kind of sports psychologist who specializes in helping athletes who have fallen into poor form, or “slumps.”

As part of his new line of work, he must help a young woman named Cha Ga Eul (Lee Yoo Mi). This woman is a short-track speed skater who dreams of glory at the Winter Olympic Games. Although she is supremely talented and already has a World Championship gold medal under her belt, she has lost her self-belief and needs motivation. But Gil Je Gal’s task will not be easy: Ku Tae Man (Kwon Yool), another former Taekwondo star and a man whose path has crossed with that of Gil Je Gal in the past, has risen to become the director of the human rights center at the national athletics association. Sparks may fly when they are forced to work together. Meanwhile, the “mental coach” must also work with Park Seung Ha (Park Se Young), an athletes’ counselor who he previously met when he was an athlete. Miss Hammurabi is a courtroom drama about an overly sympathetic judge, Park Chao Reum (Go Ara), and the coolheaded Ba Reun (Kim Myung Soo). 

Park Chaoreum (Go Ara) is a newly appointed judge who is assigned to the 44th Civil Affairs Department at the Seoul Central District. She is always on the lookout for injustice and is able to profoundly empathize with others. Compared to her, Im Ba Reun (Kim Myung Soo) is a rigid man of principle with the creed of creating a ‘court that is equal to all'.
