Lu Han is a Chinese singer and actor. Born on April 20, 1990, he is best known for being a former member of the K-pop boy group EXO and its Chinese subgroup EXO-M. He debuted with EXO in 2011 and left the group in 2014. He has since been active in China as a solo music artist and actor, appearing in such popular films as “20 Once Again” (2015), “The Witness” (2015) and “Time Raiders” (2016). He made his small-screen debut in the television series “Fighter of the Destiny” (2017) and also starred in “Sweet Combat” (2018).

A hundred talented female trainees hailing from China, South Korea, and elsewhere in the world come together to compete in a tense survival audition contest that will see the winners form a seven-member girl group.

Judges and viewers will decide the fate of the contestants, who will need to reside at a massive, fantasy castle-themed dormitory complex for the duration of the contest – or until they are eliminated.

The trainees must prove their dancing and singing capabilities in front of millions of viewers, as they hone their skills and show off their musical and dancing abilities.

The field is strong and contains a number of established and experienced stars, such as Sally, a member of K-pop girl group gugudan, former D.Holic member Hami, Russian K-pop star Lana, and ex-SM Rookie Girls member Yiyang.

Helping along the way will be seasoned mentors Huang Zi Tao, Lu Han, Mao Buyi, and ex-f(x) member Victoria Song – ready to offer expert advice to these new budding stars.

Who will make the final cut, who will go on to become a future star – and can the new girl group conquer the world of Chinese pop?

Can a blind woman stop a dangerous kidnapper before she becomes his next victim?

Lu Xiao Xing (Yang Mi) is a blind woman. She used to be a rookie cop, but she lost her brother and her sight in a car crash three years ago. When several women in the city begin to disappear without a trace, Xiao Xing asks to be reinstated as a police officer so that she can help with the case. But the blind Xiao Xing is unsuccessful in her bid to return to work as a police officer.

Upset, Xiao Xing calls for a taxi and doesn’t realize that she gets into a luxurious car instead and is offered coffee by the mysterious driver. As Xiao Xing fights the driver over the coffee, the car crashes and Xiao Xing manages to escape in the ensuing chaos. When she goes to Captain Lu (Wang Jing Chun) to report the incident, Xiao Xing is able to recall key details about the car and driver despite being blind. When an impetuous teenager, Lin Chong (Lu Han), comes forward as an eyewitness to the attempted abduction, both Xiao Xing and Captain Lu have a hard time believing his credibility. But can Lin Chong help Xiao Xing track down the mysterious abductor before it’s too late?

“The Witness” is a 2015 Chinese film directed by Ahn Sang Hoon. It is a remake of the 2011 South Korean film “Blind,” which also was directed by Ahn Sang Hoon.
