Jun Shison is a Japanese actor. Born on March 5, 1995, he is a member of the D-BOYS, a group of young male actors. He made his acting debut in a 2011 stage production of “Musical Tennis.” He has since appeared in many other theatrical productions, films and television dramas. Some of his recent credits include the dramas “Kimi Wa Petto” (2017) and “Hitoshi Ueki and Nobosemon” (2017).

A year ago, coworkers Soichi Haruta (Kei Tanaka) and Ryota Maki (Kento Hayashi) found love. But, after some time apart at the workplace, Soichi Haruta returns to the office where his one-time boss Musashi Kurosawa (Kotaro Yoshida) still works. The latter once fell head-over-heels in love with Soichi Haruta, but now warmly welcomes him back to the fold. Ryota Maki, meanwhile, has transferred to the firm’s HQ.

However, surprises lay in wait as a project team from headquarters arrives on a special mission. One of the team’s members, coincidentally, is Ryota Maki. But the presence of other attractive teammates starts to cause friction between Soichi Haruta and Ryota Maki. What would other people do in the situation? Sumire Iwaya (Noriko Iriyama) is a well educated, successful journalist who has a string of misfortunes.

Sumire graduated from Tokyo University and Harvard and works as an editor for a renowned newspaper. But her fiancé dumps her because he becomes tired of living under the shadow of her greater achievements. Then, Sumire fights off the advances of her drunk boss and gets demoted at work.

After the series of bad events, Sumire comes home one day to find a homeless young man, Takeshi Goda (Jun Shison), in a cardboard box outside her apartment. Takeshi resembles Sumire’s beloved former dog, Momo, and she has a strong desire to take Takeshi in as a pet.

“Kimi Wa Petto” is a 2017 Japanese drama series directed by Izuru Kumasaka. It is based on the manga “Kimi Wa Petto” written by Yayoi Ogawa. Two previous adaptations of the manga originally aired in 2003 and 2011.
