Lee Sang Hee is a South Korean actress who was born on October 8, 1983, in Ulsan, South Korea. She made her acting debut in the 2010 horror movie “Attention,” following up with “Invitation” (2011) and “Manshin: Ten Thousand Spirits” (2013). She made her drama series debut in “Children of the 20th Century” (2017), and also picked up the Best New Actress prize at the Baeksang Arts Awards in the same year. More recently, she has appeared in “War of Prosecutors” (2019) and “Another Child” (2019).

Ra Yi Eon (Taecyeon) is a food-loving young man in the Joseon Dynasty era (1392-1910) with a simple dream: He wants to buy a patch of land outside the royal capital and open a dumpling store. Being a prosecutor is not all glamorous work – busting international crime rings and bringing crooked politicians to justice, as Cha Myung Joo (Jung Ryeo Won) soon discovers!

She was once the rising star of her department, working at a central prosecutors’ office, dealing with newsworthy cases. But now she has been transferred to a small branch office in a provincial town, where her daily work is far more mundane!

At the branch office, she meets Lee Sun Woong (Lee Sun Gyun), a fellow prosecutor with a very different outlook on life and what the role of a prosecutor should entail.

The two are poles apart when it comes to their methodology. Cha Myung Joo is cold and meticulous, insistent on abiding by the letter of the law. But Lee Sun Woong takes a more pragmatic approach, chatting to the people he investigates – always keen to discover the human stories behind the crimes he investigates.

It looks like the two prosecutors are on a collision course, with both disapproving of each other’s methods. Can they find a way to work together – or will the battle of the district prosecutors get ugly?

This drama was based on a hit 2018 book by South Korean prosecutor Kim Woong, detailing his real-life experiences as part of the country’s judicial system.

Strange things start to unfold around four friends who have been embroiled in complicated relationships.

Jang Se Yeon (Han Ga In) is a widow who owns a café. Her life takes a scary turn when she receives a mysterious phone call that takes her back to a place where something bad may have happened.

Kim Eun Soo (Shin Hyun Bin) is a psychiatrist who also lost her ex-boyfriend to an untimely death. When the son of her ex-boyfriend comes to her as a new patient, Eun Soo begins to feel uneasy about her buried secrets. 

Han Jung Won (Choi Hee Seo) is a high school teacher who has been trying to have a child with her husband, a famous chef. But her perfect life becomes unhinged after a one-night stand.

“Mistress” is a 2018 South Korean drama series directed by Han Ji Seung. It is a remake of the British series “Mistresses,” which originally aired from 2008 to 2010, and an American series by the same title, which ran from 2013 to 2016.

Working as a groomer at a local pet shop, So Yeon (Park Min Young) has an extensive list of four-legged clients. Having recently groomed a Persian cat by the name of Bidanyi, So Yeon is shocked to find that the cat’s owner has passed away. As one of the officers working on the case, So Yeon’s friend, Kim Jun Seok (Kim Dong Wook) knows she’s familiar with the cat and asks her to take care of it while the investigation into the owner’s death continues. Unable to say no, So Yeon takes the cat home but in doing so, she invites more than just a cat into her life.

With Bidanyi now a part of her daily life, So Yeon is soon plagued by nightmares of a young girl with cat-like eyes; a girl who quickly begins to appear as horrifying hallucinations during So Yeon’s waking hours. Terrified, So Yeon tries to understand why this terrifying child continues to haunt her. Seeking the advice of her friend, Bo Hee (Shin Da Eun), So Yeon is only further troubled when she learns that after adopting a cat of her own, her friend has also started seeing the cat-eyed girl. With no idea how to rid herself and Bo Hee of these awful nightmares, So Yeon seeks the help of Jun Seok; but he has more than enough problems of his own as a string of mysterious deaths has the entire precinct baffled.

Working together, So Yeon and Jun Seok begin to make a connection between the cat-eyed girl, Bidanyi, and the steadily increasing number of mysterious deaths. But will they be able to fit all the pieces of this puzzle together before it’s too late?
