Salman Khan was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Renowned as one of Bollywoods ‘bad boys’, Salman has starred in the highest grossing film of the year seven different times. Salman has been romantically involved with famous Bollywood stars such as Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif. After his outstanding role in Maine Pyar Kiya won him Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut as well as a Filmfare nomination for Best Actor, Salman went on to win a National FIlm Award, another Filmfare Award, and an IIFA Award, as well as an Global Indian Film & Television Honor for being Best Host on Television for his hosting of Bigg Boss. Salman is known for starring in movies such as Karan Arjun, Jeet, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Tere Naam, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dabangg (2010), Ready (2011), Bodyguard (2011) , Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Dabangg 2 (2012) Being Human’ is his well known charitable organization. Salman is the fourth Indian to have a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in London. Salman is an excellent painter and swimmer.
