Jaaved Jaaferi, born in Mumbai, and is an actor, dancer, and comedian. Jaaved debuted in Bollywood in 1985 in the film Meri Jung. Jaaved won the IIFA Best Comedian Award for Salaam Namaste in 2006, and was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role for the same performance. Jaaved has acted in many Bollywood movies, but has also shared the stage as a dancer and singer with countless Bollywood stars, and English stars Michael Jackson, Queen, Sting, and the Spice Girls.
