Kwak Si Yang is the stage name of Kwak Myeong Jin, a South Korean actor. Born on January 15, 1987, he made his acting debut in the film “Night Flight,” which made its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival in February 2014. Kwak Si Yang has since starred in the popular television dramas “Glorious Day” (2014), “Persevere, Goo Hae Ra” (2015), “Oh My Ghostess” (2015), “Mirror of the Witch” (2016) and “Second to Last Love” (2016), as well as the film “Sori: Voice From the Heart” (2016). In 2015, he also was paired with popular actress Kim So Yeon, who is seven years older, as his pretend wife in the popular reality series “We Got Married Season 4.”

The year is 1950, and much of South Korea has fallen to invading armies from the North.

Southern forces, in conjunction with the American military, are planning an audacious bid to recapture the port of Incheon from the sea.

The allied military hatches a plan. Can a young royal physician change the fate of a cursed princess?

The series is inspired by the Mirror of Eastern Medicine (Dongui Bogam), a book compiled by the royal physician Heo Jun and published during the Joseon Dynasty and considered a classic in the study of Korean traditional medicine.
