Peter Lai is a Hong Kong-born actor, songwriter, and movie producer who was born on May 13, 1950. He began his career as a lyric writer for popular musicians in the mid-1970s, but in the 1980s branched out into acting, appearing in the 1988 action movie “The Big Heat.” He followed up with roles in numerous hit action and comedy films, including “Fight Back to School” (1991), “All's Well, End's Well” (2012), and “The Yuppie Fantasia 3” (2017).
