Joyce Cheng, or Cheng Yan Yi, as she’s also known is a Hong Kong singer, writer, and actress. She was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on May 30, 1987 and made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2006, with the release of her first solo music video. In 2007, she made her debut on-stage, as a member of the Chinese opera, and in 2011, she released her first full-length solo album. In 2017, she founded her own company, Passion Fruit Records and it was in 2010 that she made her on-screen debut, taking a role in her first film. Active both on and off the stage since then, she has appeared in a variety of films and television dramas, including “Guia in Love” (2015).

Growing up together, Chan Ka Sing (Vincent Wan Yeung Ming), Choi Kai Kwong (Wilson Lam), and Lee Yuk Lan were the best of friends. Nearly inseparable, they spent every free moment they had together, their carefree childhood days spent laughing and playing at the town’s old lighthouse. But as the friends grew, their relationship took a difficult turn, as both Ka Sing and Kai Kwong found themselves falling in love with Yuk Lan.&nbsp;

Forty-five years later, the former friends find themselves reunited after the passing of their beloved Yuk Lan. Meanwhile, Ka Sing’s son, Chan Keung (Wilfred Lau), finds himself wondering if his heart, which had broken after the passing of his daughter, will ever be whole again. An answer slowly begins to present itself, after he meets his young son’s teacher, Miss Lai (Annie Liu).&nbsp;

As the winding string of fate connects the hearts and lives of those Yuk Lan left behind, old friends are reunited and new flames are ignited, proving that anything is possible when it comes to love.
