Grace Yip is a Hong Kong-born actress and singer who was born on February 1, 1980. She made her music debut in 1998, releasing the song “In Your Arms.” She made her first major bow as an actress in “Gen-X Cops” (1999) following up with “A Man Called Hero” (1999). She took a hiatus from the entertainment business in 2001, returning in 2006 with the album “On My Own.” She later went on to star in the films “Full Strike” (2015) and “My Wife Is a Superstar” in 2016.

Chu Kei (Annie Liu) is a struggling movie extra who cannot seem to catch a break. No matter how hard she tries, she invariably ends up getting fired from her low-paying jobs by short-tempered production staff and directors.

But she has a remarkable reversal of fortunes when movie studio owner Jeff Sin (Alex Lam) approaches her with an incredible offer: Turn her back on her foundering career as an extra and become the star of a brand-new blockbuster movie. The only catch is that she must promise not to date anyone…
