Charlene Choi is a Hong Kong-Canadian model, actress, and singer who was born on November 22, 1982, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She and her family moved to Hong Kong when she was still a young girl. She began working as a model after graduating from Rosaryhill School. In 2000, she appeared in the movie “What Is a Good Teacher?” In 2001, she debuted as part of the pop duo Twins. More recently, she has appeared in the dramas “Police Tactical Unit” (2018) and 2022’s “Forensic JD.”

Song An Yan (Charlene Choi) is a forensic expert who is almost unparalleled in her abilities. The dead almost seem to be able to reach out and speak to her about how they died – as she notices clues that most other experts tend to overlook. Much of this is due to the fact that she has a form of hypersensitivity that leaves her bombarded with information. She is also haunted by events from the past – and a case involving her own family that ended in an unhappy conclusion.

One day, a 29-year-old woman is found brutally murdered in her home. Beside her, detectives find a ghastly mask stained with blood. But the blood, it soon turns out, does not belong to the dead woman. It actually matches blood linked to a homicide case that took place 20 years ago. Song An Yan senses that the case may involve her family in some way.
