Zhang Tong, also known as Candy Zhang, is a Chinese actress who was born in Urumqi, in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. She graduated from the Central Academy of Drama’s Acting Department. She debuted in 1995 with a role in a war-themed movie. She has since gone on to star in dramas like “The Grand Merchants” (2022) and “Ye Cheng” (2023).

Princess Shu Cheng (Claire Jia) is a fierce warrior in the Kingdom of Great Chu, where women rule and men must obey. This 2023 Chinese drama was based on a novel by Xi Ge and was directed by Luo Zhi Gang.
