Yu Wen Wen is a Chinese actress and singer born on November 7, 1989, in Liaoning, China. She moved to Canada while still a child, and attended a secondary school in Vancouver. She then went on to study at the Berklee College in Boston, Massachusetts. She made her acting debut in the movie “Under the Rain” in 2012 and released an EP of the same name later the same year. She followed up with her first studio album, “Spirits,” in 2014. Also in 2014, she made her TV drama debut, appearing in “One and a Half Summer.” More recently, she has appeared in the movies “The Ex-Files 3: The Return of the Exes” (2017) and “Twenty” (2018).

Close friends Meng Yun (Han Geng) and Yu Fei (Zheng Kai) have reached the age where those around them constantly have marriage on the mind. However, neither of them are there yet: Meng Yun is struggling emotionally after his breakup with his long-term girlfriend, while Yu Fei's girlfriend Ding Dian (Zeng Meng Xue) rejects his suggestion of marriage despite suspecting that she might be pregnant, claiming she's not ready to settle down. Meng Yun's friends and family want to help him find a new partner, setting him up on a series of first dates with mixed results. Meanwhile, Ding Dian moves in with Yu Fei to simulate what marriage might look like for them, but they may not be as compatible as they originally thought. Will Meng Yun and Yu Fei figure out their relationship woes, or are they destined to become bachelors once again? Meng Yun (Han Geng) and Lin Jia	(Yu Wen Wen) were once a poor but happy couple.

Then Meng Yun launched his entrepreneurial dream. Success followed, but it came at a cost – now Lin Jia feels unappreciated and unloved. And Meng Yun says he is tired of being nagged at home when all he is trying to do is build a good life for Lin Jia. The couple decides to split.

Meng Yun finds solace in spending time with his best friend and fellow entrepreneur Yu Fei (Zheng Kai), who has also recently split from his wife – and Lin Jia’s closest confidante – Ding (Zeng Meng Xue).

The four friends seem to be making the most of their new-found freedom and single status…until Yu Fei and Ding unexpectedly announce they are getting back together.

Will Meng Yun and Lin Jia follow their lead? Or has their relationship already gone beyond the point of no return?

The movie is the third installment of the “Ex-Files” trilogy, which began in 2014. The second movie, “The Ex-File 2: The Backup Strikes Back,” was released in 2015.

“The Ex-File 3: Return of the Exes” is a 2017 Chinese romantic comedy movie directed by Yu Sheng Tian.
