Yao Di is a Chinese actress who was born in Tongxiang, China, on March 17, 1982. She graduated from the Beijing Film Academy and went on to make her debut in the 2001 drama series "Red Powder." She made her movie debut in 2004, appearing in "A Zhen and Her Hostess." She made a name for herself when she starred in the period series "The Dream of Red Mansions" (2010), and more recently has appeared in drama titles such as "Born in the 70s" (2018) and "Sword Dynasty" (2019).
