Xia Yi Yao is a Chinese actress born on June 9, 1987, in Chizhou, China. She made her acting debut in 2006, starring in the movie “The Mute Woman.” She followed up with further movie roles in the late 2000s, and then made her TV debut after the turn of the decade, with an appearance in 2011 wartime period drama series “The Mission.” Since then, she has gone on to star in hit drama titles including “My Father and Mother” (2013), as well as movies such as “The Sai Kwan Mansion” (2017). She has also appeared in the drama “Mengfei Comes Across” (2018).
