Roy Kim is the stage name of Kim Sang Woo, a South Korean singer-songwriter and radio host. Born on July 3, 1993, in Seoul, he spent time in Canada during elementary school and graduated high school in Asheville, North Carolina. Before starting college, Roy Kim entered the talent competition “Superstar K4” in 2012 and won. Since 2013, he has been splitting his time attending Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., while pursuing his music career in Korea.
