Alyssa Chia is a Taiwanese actress and television personality who was born on October 7, 1974, in Taipei. She studied at the Beijing Film Academy and began working as a model in commercials, and hostess a number of children's TV programs. She made her TV drama series acting debut in 1990, appearing in “Jia Jia Fu,” and has since gone on to appear in a range of movies and drama titles – including the recent 2020 title “The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty.”

Racing against time, Tang Fan and Sui Zhou must work together to expose the criminal mastermind and prevent a catastrophic uprising. Produced by Jackie Chan and based on a 2015 novel by Meng Xi Shi, this is a 2020 Chinese period detective drama directed by Guo Shuang and Yang Huan.
