BoA is the stage name of Kwon Bo Ah, a South Korean singer and actress who is known as the “Queen of Korean Pop.” Born on November 5, 1986, she was discovered at the age of 11 by a talent agency when she accompanied her older brother to a talent search and released her first album two years later in 2000, when she was only 13. Since then, she has released numerous hit records in Korea, Japan and the United States, making her one of the most commercially successful K-pop artists in Asia. BoA branched into acting in the Hollywood film “Make Your Move 3D,” which was eventually released in the United States in 2014. She also starred in the Korean drama special “Waiting for Love” (2013) and in the television drama “My Wife Is Having an Affair This Week” (2016). BoA has served as a judge on the first two seasons of the reality singing competition “K-Pop Star.”

Where do you turn when your happy life is ripped apart? Do Hyun Woo (Lee Sun Gyun) is a television producer who considers himself blessed to have a successful career and a happy marriage. 

But his happy existence is shaken to the core when he accidently sees a text message to his wife, Jung Soo Yeon (Song Ji Hyo), from a mysterious man named Michael who says he has reserved a hotel room for later in the week and he can’t wait to see her. Convinced that his wife is having an affair, Hyun Woo doesn’t know where to turn for help to save his marriage and ends up going on an online forum to ask for anonymous advice from strangers.

The Cheaters

Choi Ik Ho (Lee Jung Jae) is a former footballer and mixed martial artist who finds himself dragged into a deadly game run that could cost him his life.

The suspense begins when his brother and coach disappears and is presumed dead. The police suspect foul play and arrest Choi Ik Ho.

Enter Ace (Shin Ha Kyun), a shadowy figure who tells the former sports star that the only way to save his brother and stay out of jail is to follow his instructions – and those of another mysterious individual named Soo Kyung (BoA).

Choi Ik Ho soon discovers he is trapped in a deadly gambling ring operated for the behalf of some of South Korea’s richest people, who bet on the success (or failure) of his rescue efforts.

Things come to a head when Soo Kyung tells him the only way to save his brother and clear his name is to complete a potentially lethal mission in a packed soccer stadium during a crunch match.

“Big Match” is a 2014 South Korean thriller movie directed by Choi Ho.
