Dean Fujioka, born Tatsuo Fujioka and also known as Teng Gang Dian, is a Japanese actor, singer, songwriter, model, and film director. He was born in Sukagawa, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, on August 19, 1980, and made his debut as a model in Hong Kong’s fashion scene in 2004. In 2006, he made his debut as an actor, taking his first role in a television drama. Since then, he has appeared in a wide variety of films and television dramas, including “Just You” (2013), “May I Blackmail You?” (2017), “FOURTRY” (2019), and “My Fair Prince” (2021).

Suzu Yukimiya (Yuriko Yoshitaka) is a 35-year-old woman who works as an obstetrician and gynecologist. She had to put every ounce of her heart into her studies – only for everything to end in disappointment. She was forced to leave her first big job at a major hospital because of a lawsuit. It all started with a suspicious video that was suddenly sent to her house.
In it, a masked man who calls himself "Blackmailer" facetiously claims that he has taken her "boyfriend" hostage. If his life is precious to her, she needs to pay ransom to save him.

"But wait a minute... I've never even had a boyfriend," she recalls. 
This bizarre case of mistaken identity sparks the beginning of fun-filled days for "Blackmailer" Senkawa, "girlfriend material goody two-shoes" Mio, and their friends.

Using blackmail to solve problems, "Blackmailer" is a "professional villain" who takes on cases that the police and investigators can't handle. When not busy being a "hero of darkness" who uses "evil" to save people, he's an easy-to-flatter sedentary guy with an odd fashion sense. He loves to make silly jokes, but nobody pays him any attention.

The "princess," on the other hand, is a college student who has never had a boyfriend. Although she lives a simple life, she's actually a super rich kid who can easily throw down hundreds of thousands of dollars whenever she wants. Sweet and kind, she's definitely girlfriend material. The slightest bit of evil bothers her, and she often sticks her nose into the problems of strangers.

Two polar opposites who should have never crossed paths end up getting involved in numerous cases. Follow them as they solve one problem after another in this poppy crime mystery!

May I Blackmail You?

Michio (Kyoko Fukada) is a 30-year-old woman who has fallen on hard times. The company she used to work for went bankrupt, leaving her without a job. She has repeatedly tried to find a new job ever since, but has struck out at every turn. She is living off her savings, but her finances are running perilously thin – particularly as she also has to support her boyfriend, who also does not bring in any income.

But life takes an unexpected turn for Michio when she runs into her former manager Ayumu (Dean Fujioka). When they used to work together, his imposing attitude used to fill her with fear. But he seems somehow different away from her former workplace. And instead of taking on a similar job, Michio discovers that he is instead running his grandmother’s old tea shop. He offers her a part-time job at the shop and she accepts. As the duo begins to spend more time together, could Michio find herself drawn to the man she was once so afraid of?

This drama was based on a hit manga series by Aya Nakahara that was serialized in 2013.
