Sometimes fate sets you on a path that you had no plans to go on. Lin Jia En (Kirsten Ren) is perfectly content with her life in the small town of Pingtung, while her friend Zheng Ren Wei (Jay Shih) longs for the excitement of the big city. During the summer of 1995, Jia En and Ren Wei take their college entrance exams together. The smarter Jia En surprisingly fails the exam, while the underperforming Ren Wei passes and sets off to attend Cheng Dong University in Taipei. Bored out of her mind while waiting a year to take the college entrance exam again, Jia En impulsively buys a train ticket to spend a day in Taipei. But the day goes horribly wrong when Jia En is robbed while wandering through the city. With no money, she goes to look for the only person she knows in Taipei: Ren Wei at Cheng Dong University. Instead, Jia En meets Ren Wei’s roommate, Liu Shan Feng (Lego Li), and her life is set on an unexpected course. “In a Good Way” is a 2013-2014 Taiwanese drama series.
