In adulthood, Kang Mo, the ambitious middle child, rises from poverty, navigating treacherous political and business landscapes to avenge his family. However, he often clashes with Sung Mo, a stoic intelligence agent, and Mi Joo, an aspiring singer caught in a tragic romance with the son of a family enemy. Amidst South Korea’s rapid industrialization, Kang Mo tries to enact his revenge, fights to reclaim his family's honor, and strives to build an empire of his own.
