Dong Hae's mother is Anna who was adopted by a couple in America. She has a mental age of nine. Dong Hae dated Sae Wa when he was a short track speed skater in America, but he was abandoned before their wedding. So Hyun gets a menial job working at a multiplex theater and meets new people who help her along the way. Jun Pyo is an assistant director and rising star in the film industry. By some coincidence, he ends up living in the same house as So Hyun. He discovers that she's the daughter of the director whom he greatly respected before his passing and finds himself developing feelings for her. So Hyun's childhood friend, Yu Ra, also works in the film industry. However, she begins to feel threatened by So Hyun whenever they cross paths. The relationships among these men and women are fraught with conflict and competition but also romance and a shared passion for films.
