Yoo Ji Tae is an award-winning South Korean actor and director. Born on April 13, 1976, he began his career as a model before branching into acting in the 1998 film “Bye June.” It was his second film “Attack the Gas Station!” in 1999 that catapulted him to fame, and Yoo Ji Tae went on to star in many hit films that brought him critical acclaim and many acting awards. Some of his recent credits include the films “Split” (2016) and “The Swindlers” (2017) as well as the television dramas “Healer” (2014-2015) and “The Good Wife” (2016). Yoo Ji Tae has been married to actress Kim Hyo Jin since 2011, and the couple is well known for their extensive charity work around the world.

Twenty years ago, Yoon Ji Soo (Jeon So Nee) fell in love with a man who made her heart sing. During the Japanese colonial period, two events paved the way for the independence of Korea, the March 1st Movement and the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea. What does it take to catch the world’s most legendary conman?

After swindling a huge sum of money from many victims, master conman Jang Doo Chil (Heo Sung Tae) disappears and is presumed dead. But when rumors surface that Doo Chil may be alive, Prosecutor Park Hee Soo (Yoo Ji Tae) wants to make sure that he remains “dead” to avoid a corruption scandal.
