Lee Ji Hoon

Ji Hoon (Lee Ji Hoon) has been a quiet, solitary person his whole life, often ignored by others. This led him to become overly attached to Ye Eun (Lee Yun U), a girl he loved in college, because she was one of the few people who ever interacted with him. While they went their separate ways after college, Ji Hoon managed to find Ye Eun again years later, only to find out that she's now married. Unfortunately, her husband Hyung Oh (Shin Soo Hang) is violently abusive, leaving Ye Eun a shell of her former self. Ji Hoon, believing he needs to save Ye Eun, decides to hide under her and Hyung Oh's bed to keep an eye on things. Is Ji Hoon the savior Ye Eun needs, or is there something else at play? With dreams of becoming a professional singer, Lee Seung Jin (Lee Ji Hoon) has spent his entire life perfecting his voice. Though startled at first, it doesn’t take long for Seung Jin to realize that his neighbor is attempting to drive him off with her noise. Naturally, Seung Jin refuses to give Ra Ni the satisfaction of winning; at least not without a fight.&nbsp;

Soon caught up in a battle of will, Seung Jin and Ra Ni are determined to outdo each other, not realizing that as they fight, they’re sharing bits and pieces of information about themselves. Only after they start to develop feelings for each other do Seung Jin and Ra Ni realize that they’ve been falling in love this whole time. Now they must decide, can this really be love when neither of them knows the other’s name or even what they look like?

“Mirror of the Witch” is a 2016 South Korean drama series directed by Jo Hyun Tak. The series is inspired by the Mirror of Eastern Medicine (Dongui Bogam), a book compiled by the royal physician Heo Jun and published during the Joseon Dynasty and considered a classic in the study of Korean traditional medicine.
