Lee David is a South Korean actor who began his career as a child actor. He also is known as David Lee and Lee Da Wit. Born on March 3, 1994, he made his acting debut in the 2001 television series “TV Novel: Flower Story” and has appeared in many popular television dramas and films since, including the dramas “Who Are You: School 2015” (2015), “Mirror of the Witch” (2016), “Bring It On, Ghost” (2016) and the film “Split” (2016).

Nestled deep in the heart of Seoul’s thriving downtown sits a curious hotel, the like of which no one has ever seen before. Old beyond measure, the building has stood for millennia, an ever-present testament to the fact that things are not always what they seem. Running this hotel is Jang Man Wol (IU), a greedy, suspicious soul who has spent the past thousand years acting as the establishment’s CEO.

Cursed for a sin she can no longer remember committing, Man Wol is doomed to spend all of the eternity running this odd establishment, catering to the needs of a most peculiar clientele. Her only hope of escape is to find someone who has committed a worse sin than her own but after a thousand years, she’s beginning to lose hope.

However, things take an interesting turn when Goo Chan Sung (Yeo Jin Goo) shows up. Once the youngest assistant manager ever to work at a multinational hotel corporation, Chan Sung finds himself forced to manage the Hotel del Luna because of a deal his father made with Man Wol years ago. A year into the Korean War, South Korea’s Geoje Island has become home to an American-run prison camp, housing everyone from tap dancing officers to rebellious North Korean soldiers. When the commanding officer of the camp orders Sergeant Jackson (Jared Grimes) to form a dance troupe and prepare a Christmas production meant to wow the international media and improve the U.S. Army’s public image, the one-time dancer doesn’t even know where to start. Setting up a camp-wide audition, Jackson begins screening talent, but the task isn’t easy.

As unlikely as it sounds, this rag-tag team comes together to make something truly beautiful; but war is an ugly thing and its oppressive weight is ever-present.

Loyalties will be tested and hearts will rend as this close-knit group of dancers tries to overcome the never-ending string of obstacles that come with living as prisoners of war.

Can a young royal physician change the fate of a cursed princess?

“Mirror of the Witch” is a 2016 South Korean drama series directed by Jo Hyun Tak. The series is inspired by the Mirror of Eastern Medicine (Dongui Bogam), a book compiled by the royal physician Heo Jun and published during the Joseon Dynasty and considered a classic in the study of Korean traditional medicine.
