Kang Min Kyung, known as Minkyung, is a South Korean singer and actress who is most well known for being half of the pop ballad duo Davichi with Lee Haeri. Born on August 3, 1990, Minkyung debuted with Davichi in early 2008, winning Best New Artist from the Mnet Asian Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards and the Seoul Music Awards that year. The duo’s debut track “I Hate You, I Love You” won Rookie of the Month from the Cyworld Digital Music Awards. Davichi also is popular for its original soundtracks to popular television dramas, including “East of Eden,” Haeundae Lovers” and “It’s Okay, That’s Love.” Minkyung made her acting debut in the 2011 drama “Smile, Mom.”
