In this poignant story, teenage parents Dae Soo (Kang Dong Won) and Mi Ra (Song Hye Kyo) face an extraordinary challenge when their son Ah Reum (Jo Sung Mok) is born with Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome, a rare condition causing rapid aging. Despite their young age, they work hard - Dae Soo as a taxi driver and Mi Ra at a laundromat - to support their rapidly aging child. As Ah Reum's body deteriorates to that of an 80-year-old by age 16, he courageously decides to share his unique life story through a television show, hoping to touch the world with his remarkable journey. This is a 2014 South Korean film directed by E J Yong, based on the novel "My Palpitating Life" by Kim Ae Ran.
