When Professor Yoon Suk Young's (Lee Byung Hun) former student asks him to appear as a guest on a TV show that reunites famous individuals with people from their past, he agrees, hoping to track down a woman named Seo Jung In (Soo Ae). They met in 1969, when South Korea was mired in political turmoil. Suk Young was a college student, and Jung In was a librarian in a rural village. The duo met when Suk Young and his classmates traveled from the big city to the countryside on a mission to help modernize the village, and they ended up falling in love.
