Lee Young Jin is a South Korean model and actress born on February 24, 1981. She debuted as a child actress in the movie “The Moonlight Over University Town” in 1990 and followed up with a role in “Teenage Coup d'Gras” (1991). After this, she began a career as a model, working with a number of high-profile fashion and lifestyle brands. She returned to acting in the late 1990s, and went on to play a major role in the hit 2001 movie “Afrika.” She has appeared in variety shows such as “Fashionable Pet Life” (2013) and more recently has become a drama star, appearing in titles including “Tempted” (2018) and “Doctor Detective” (2019).

So Hyun, a 19-year-old girl, lives as a pickpocket after dropping out of school. So Hyun is not satisfied with her life as she is barely getting by with her mother, who only cares about running the gambling house. In modern society, some people are neglected and suffering. They are often involved in unfortunate events, such as industrial accidents, and end up dying. Most of the disasters could be prevented in advance with little attention. However, some companies or public organizations tend not to prepare for potential accidents because of the high cost. That's how industrial accidents take place. Doctor Detective is a drama where medical doctors treat the patients suffering from industrial accidents and look into the truth behind the accidents. The drama story starts when Joong Eun, an enormously talented medical doctor, gets to join an undiagnosed disease center(UDC) in the middle of experiencing difficulties in her personal life. And she starts to look into her patients' diseases caused by industrial accidents and work on revealing the truth concealed by those with power.

Doctor Detective

In 2008, South Korea held its first criminal trial by jury. The case presented to the court was supposed to be an easy one, as the defendant himself freely admitted to brutally murdering his mother. However, what was supposed to be a simple, open-and-shut case turns into something more, when one of the jurors, a young entrepreneur named Kwon Nam Woo (Park Hyung Sik), begins to question everything.

Without the unanimous vote of the jury, the judge, Kim Joon Gyum (Moon So Ri), is forced to re-examine the evidence and call for a new debate, to determine whether or not the defendant is guilty or not guilty.

Refusing to bow to the pressure of the majority, Kwon Nam Woo begins a thorough investigation of the case on his own. Sifting through countless investigation records, he repeatedly questions the defendant’s admission of guilt. As his investigation continues, he begins to find the evidence he needs to substantiate his doubt. Slowly joined in his search for the truth by the other jurors, Kwon Nam Woo begins to break through the majority opinion to uncover the truth and set the standard for true justice.

Based on a true story, “Juror 8” is a 2019 film directed by Hong Seung Wan.

Many people wish to be the great tempter who has power over love. However, once they actually experience love, they begin to understand that what they once wished for was foolish and useless. In this drama, all the characters are in love just like us. To be frank, they all desire someone. The desires to love and to be loved clash with each other as the story unravels. Some regret the mask they hid behind in front of love and express their disappointment and anger to others. Through love, some learn to love themselves while others get too hurt to stand back on their feet. But then again, through many hardships, some get back on their feet and learn to love once again. Tempted hopes for the viewers to laugh, cry, and go through these stories together. Just like how everyone's interpretation of love is different, this drama wishes that we can all love passionately without any comparisons.
