Son Ye Jin is an award-winning South Korean actress. Born on January 11, 1982, she made her acting debut in the 2000 film “Secret Tears.” She has since starred in many popular film and television dramas that have made her well loved by fans throughout Asia. Some of her best-known roles include the television dramas “Summer Scent” (2003), “Personal Taste” (2010) and “Shark” (2013), as well as the films “Spellbound” (2011), “The Tower” (2012), “Blood and Ties” (2013), “The Pirates” (2014), “House Filled With Happiness” (2015) and “The Bad Guy Must Die” (2015).

Yoon Jin Ah (Son Ye Jin) is 35 years old. She works as a supervisor at a popular coffee shop franchise. She is relatively upbeat about most things, but has recently been dumped by her boyfriend. Her best friend Seo Kyung Seon (Jang Seo Yeon) is also 35, and works in the same industry.

Life takes a sudden turn for Yoon Jin Ah when her best friend’s younger brother Seo Joon Hee (Jung Hae In) returns to South Korea from a three-year stint living in the USA. Seo Joon Hee has been working as a character animation designer at a computer video game company. It has been a long time since Yoon Jin Ah saw or thought about Seo Joon Hee, but the duo begin to start spending time together. As they do so, they begin to feel the pull of romance. As Seo Joon Hee is four years younger than Yoon Jin Ah, traditional values stand in the way of their union. But Cupid appears to care little about conventions like these. Will they give in to love? Or will conservative values and social pressures stand in their way?

On her deathbed, Soo Ah (Son Ye Jin) makes a promise to her husband, Woo Jin (So Ji Sub) and her son, Ji Ho (Kim Ji Hwan), that she will return to them a year after her passing. Wishing, rather than believing she would keep her word, Woo Jin and Ji Ho say their final farewells. With broken hearts, they do their best to pick up the pieces of their old life and try to move on.

A year later, the unbelievable happens. True to her word, Soo Ah returns home, the problem is, she has no recollection of her past life. With no idea of who she was or what Woo Jin and Ji Ho meant to her, Soo Ah does her best to find a place in their lives once again. Eventually settling into this new life, Soo Ah and her family experience happiness in ways they never dreamed would be possible again. But their happiness is short-lived.

Only able to stay with Woo Jin and Ji Ho for a short while, Soo Ah soon realizes that her time at home is quickly coming to an end. With hearts breaking all over again, Soo Ah must say goodbye to her family, only this time it’s forever.
