Youn Yuh Jung is a celebrated veteran South Korean actress whose career spans more than five decades. Born on June 19, 1947, she made her acting debut in the 1967 television drama “Mr. Gong,” for which she won the Best New Talent award at the TBC Drama Awards in 1969. Many celebrated roles in both films and television followed. In 1975, Youn Yuh Jung married singer Jo Young Nam and immigrated to the United States before returning in 1984 to resume her acting career. They divorced in 1987. Some of her recent award-winning roles include the films “The Housemaid” (2010), “Canola” (2016), and “The Bacchus Lady” (2016), as well as the television dramas “My Husband Got a Family” (2012), “Wonderful Days” (2014) and “Dear My Friends” (2016). Youn Yuh Jung also starred in the popular cooking reality series “Youn’s Kitchen” (2017) and “Youn’s Kitchen 2” (2018). In 2020, she appeared in the movie “Minari,” a role that won her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

Youn Yuh Jung Leaves Hook Entertainment Following Contract Expiration

Jung Man (Bae Sung Woo) is a straight-living office worker who is down on his luck. He has already been declared bankrupt, and despite the fact that both he and his wife are working, they are now struggling to make ends meet.

They have to care for his mother, whose health is deteriorating, as well as his daughter, whose application for a student loan has just been turned down.

One fateful day, he comes across an abandoned designer bag in a sauna locker. He takes a look inside and is shocked to discover that it is stuffed to the brim with banknotes.

Not sure what to do, he takes it to a storage room while he decides what to do with his discovery.

However, a number of other individuals soon learn the secret of this mysterious bag – and plan to get their hands on it. These include a brothel madam named Yeon Hee (Jeon Do Yeon) and a customs agent named Tae Young (Jung Woo Sung), who needs to pay off a debt to a dangerous loan shark.
