Yum Jung Ah is an award-winning veteran South Korean actress. Born on July 28, 1972, she competed in the 1991 Miss Korea pageant, winning first runner-up and Miss Photogenic. She also won second runner-up in the 1992 Miss International pageant. Yum Jung Ah began her entertainment career in 1991 on the television variety show “Entertainment Weekly” and in the television drama “Our Paradise.” She has since won many Best Actress awards for her work in both film and television. Some of her recent roles include “Royal Family” (2011), “Your Neighbor’s Wife” (2013) and “Mirror of the Witch” (2016). Yum Jung Ah married Heo Il in 2006.

Ean (Kim Tae Ri) has become stuck in the past, searching for the Divine Blade, the only item that can open the gates of time. But she is not alone in her quest, as blind swordsman Neung Pa (Jin Seon Kyu) also hunts for the blade. Time is quickly running out, though, as back in the “future,” an escaped alien prisoner is ready to unleash chaos on the world. Ean must gain control of the Divine Blade fast – and save the future world from doom! This 2024 South Korean movie is the follow-up to “Alienoid” and was directed by Choi Dong Hoon.

The race to find the Divine Blade is really heating up now, with the evil alien mastermind ready to play a decisive card. Can the forces of good beat their evil foes in a final, chaotic showdown?

War games threaten to turn deadly after political skullduggery by international political extremists threatens to plunge the entire East Asian region into a catastrophic war.

With the United States president Willis Chatman Smoot (Angus Macfadyen) insistent that the South Korean president Han Kyeong Jae (Jung Woo Sung) agrees to let his country’s military take part in military exercises, the latter finds himself in a quandary, with Chinese officials warning him to refrain.

But at a summit with North Korean leader Jo Seon Sa (Yoo Yeon Seok), the three political leaders are taken captive while the head of the North Korean military attempts to seize power in a coup.

Taek Il (Park Jung Min) is 18 and unhappy with his lot. His life is going nowhere, much like the faulty motorbike he bought online and now can’t get to work. After a bitter quarrel with his nagging mother, he decides to run away from home to a town named Gunsan where he finds work at a Chinese restaurant. He has a run-in with the restaurant’s cook, the burly and ostensibly ill-tempered Geo Seok (Ma Dong Seok). Although they get off on the wrong foot, they start to develop an unorthodox friendship, which mostly involves baiting each other and threatening one another with violence. Little by little, Taek Il begins to understand that Geo Seok is hiding a mysterious and unhappy secret.

Things get even more hectic for Taek Il when his best friend Sang Pil (Jung Hae In), who is trying to support his ailing grandmother, who is struggling with Alzheimer’s disease, reveals that he is to take up a job in “finance” – a position that turns out to involve little more than collecting debts for unscrupulous loan sharks. It isn’t long before Hee Yeon begins to wonder if she hasn’t made some terrible mistake, bringing this girl home; especially not after she finds herself wondering if this little girl is even human at all.

Inspired by the legend of Jangsan Tiger, “The Mimic” is a 2017 horror-thriller film directed by Heo Jung.

“Mirror of the Witch” is a 2016 South Korean drama series directed by Jo Hyun Tak. The series is inspired by the Mirror of Eastern Medicine (Dongui Bogam), a book compiled by the royal physician Heo Jun and published during the Joseon Dynasty and considered a classic in the study of Korean traditional medicine.
