Yang Keum Seok is a South Korean actress who was born on January 22, 1961, in Asan, South Korea. She attended the Shin Kwang Girls High School, and made her acting debut in 1986, appearing in the movie “Love Song of a Hero.” She won widespread acclaim for her role in the hit 2001 movie “My Sassy Girl,” and has also appeared in scores of TV drama series titles, such as “Loveholic” (2005), “You Are My Destiny” (2008), and “Mom Has an Affair” (2020).

When Eok Kwan is about to give up his life, he meets Hye Rim, the mother of Soo Ah and Kyung Ho. Eok Kwan and Hye Rim marry, but she dies shortly after. Soo Ah grows to resent Eok Kwan after her mother's death. Kyung Ho has also had a troubled youth. Jae Soo ends up in prison for his love for Soo Ah and his guilt over Kyung Ho. Eok Kwan lives with them as their father in a twisted family relationship.
