Kim Hee Ae is a celebrated South Korean actress. Born on April 23, 1967, she was first discovered when she was a freshman in high school by a man who worked for advertising agency, which opened the way for her to work as a model. Kim Hee Ae made her acting debut in the 1983 film “The First Day of the Twentieth Year.” She has enjoyed a successful career acting in both films and television dramas. Some of her most popular roles include the film “Thread of Lies” (2014) and the television dramas “My Husband’s Woman” (2007), “Midas” (2011), “A Wife’s Credentials” (2012), “Secret Love Affair” (2014), “Mrs. Cop” (2015) and “Second to Last Love” (2016). Kim Hee Ae also has made regular appearances on the travel reality show “Sisters Over Flowers” since 2013. Kim Hee Ae married Lee Chan Jin, CEO of the web portal DreamWiz, in 1996, and they have two sons.

Seven years ago, South Korea’s first manned mission to the Moon ended in disaster, when a tragic explosion wiped out the nation’s first lunar-bound spacecraft. Now, as the year 20230 approaches, South Korea finds itself in a new space race – and is determined to make its second attempt to reach the Moon a success. But shortly after landing, astronaut Hwang Sun Woo (D.O) is driving a lunar rover when a strong wind sends him hurtling into unknown danger. Eventually stranded, it looks like Hwang Sun Woo’s fate is sealed.

The national space center has no choice but to turn to its former Kim Jae Guk (Sol Kung Gu), its former managing director. Yoon Hee (Kim Hee Ae) is a woman in her forties who has recently divorced her husband. She is depressed, but hides her sadness from her teenage, high schooler daughter Sae Bom (Kim So Hye). One day, Sae Bom finds a letter addressed to her mother from a small town in a rural part of Japan. She accidentally ends up reading it, and is surprised to see that it contains details about her mother’s first love, a secret love that she has never spoken of to anyone. Intent on lifting her mother out of her gloom, Sae Bom devises a plan. She convinces her mother to travel together to Japan – without revealing her true intentions: to search for the older woman’s first love.

What follows for mother and daughter is a journey of discovery. Although Yoon Hee would not dare to admit it, she is secretly hopeful (and somewhat anxious) about the prospect of a reunion with her first love. But could the journey also help her form a tighter bond with her precious daughter?

Herstory

Yoon Seol Hee (Kim Hee Ae) is a powerful businesswoman from a hugely wealthy family. One day, she dies very unexpectedly, and to add to the intrigue, the body vanishes from the morgue shortly after. Woo Jung Sik (Kim Sang Kyung), a once-brilliant but now ostensibly washed-up detective with a past shrouded in mystery is assigned to the case. Suspicion begins to fall on the woman’s widower Park Jin Han (Kim Kang Woo), a university professor who has been secretly having an affair with Hye Jin (Han Ji An), one of his students.

Although the evidence suggesting that Park Jin Han played a part in his wife’s death is at first very slim, Woo Jung Sik seems to have a hunch that the professor was somehow involved. As the investigation, the plot thickens – never more so than when Park Jin Han starts receiving text messages...from his “dead wife.”

This movie was based on the 2012 Spanish film “The Body.”
