Disaster strikes for Joseon-era singer Hak Gyu (Lee Bong Geun) when his wife Gan Nan (Lee Yoo Ri) and daughter Cheong Yi (Kim Ha Yeon) are kidnapped by human traffickers. In the panic, Cheong Yi escapes, but the shocking incident strikes her blind. Hak Gyu is determined to find his wife, even if he must walk the length of the country to do so. With Cheong Yi in tow, he wanders from town to town, looking for his lost love. As he tells his tale over and over, he begins to incorporate unique musical elements – giving rise to a new form of singing and storytelling. Can this help him find his lost wife... and revitalize an entire nation through the power of song? This 2018 South Korean movie was directed by Cho Jung Rae.
