Jeon Do Yeon is a South Korean actress who was born in Seoul, South Korea on February 11, 1973. She made her debut in the 1992 television drama series “Our Paradise,” and went on to make her movie bow in the film “The Contact.” She has since won the Best Actress prize at the Cannes Film Festival and the Asia Pacific Screen Awards for her role in the 2007 film “Secret Sunshine” Her more recent works include “Hip Daddy” (2020) and “Beasts Clawing at Straws” (2020).

When veteran police detective In Ho (Song Kang Ho) catches word that someone is making threats of terrorism against an impending flight, he wastes no time in beginning an investigation. Soon realizing that the threats made were valid, In Ho desperately attempts to apprehend the terrorist before he can strike. Unfortunately, In Ho has no such luck and can only watch in horror as Korean flight 501 departs Incheon Airport, headed for Hawaii.

Aboard the plane, the bioterrorist Jin Seok (Im Siwan) wastes no time in releasing a deadly virus into the air. Within hours the first of Jin Seok’s victims dies, setting off a wave of fear that soon turns to chaos as more passengers begin to fall ill. Three mighty warriors, Deok Gi (Lee Byung Hun), Seol Rang (Jeon Do Yeon) and Poong Chun (Bae Soo Bin), lead an uprising to fight for freedom from an incompetent king. Deok Gi now goes by the name Yoo Baek and has become a powerful military ruler. When he hosts a sword competition in the market, Seol Hee participates in the match. Her fight with master swordsman Yull (Lee Junho) catches Yoo Baek’s attention because of her similar sword style to Woll So. Yoo Baek sends his men after Seol Hee but she manages to escape.

Radio program producer Dong Hyun (Han Suk Kyu) is still trying to get over his ex – to the extent that when he receives a record that had particular symbolic importance to his ex, he decides to play the song "Pale Blue Eyes" in the hopes of reaching out to her. However, he ends up reaching someone else entirely: home shopping telemarketer Soo Hyun (Jeon Do Yeon), who narrowly escapes a car accident while listening to Dong Hyun's broadcast. Seeing the incident as a sign, she submits a request online for Dong Hyun to play the same song again the next day, and he obliges, thinking that the song request came from his ex. The two continue chatting with each other online and develop a relationship beyond just talking about music. Will this case of mistaken identity lead to real romance? This movie won several awards, including the 1997 Grand Bell Award for Best Film.
