Vincent Chiao is a Taiwanese actor and singer. Born on November 7, 1967, he made his acting debut in the 1986 film “The Kinmen Bombs.” He is known for playing historical roles in period television dramas, including “A Swordsman in the Wilderness” (2011). As a singer, Vincent Chiao has released two albums and a couple of soundtracks for television dramas.

A young woman chases her dreams of becoming a taekwondo champion while also righting a wrong. 

Qi Bai Cao (Hu Bing Qing) has always loved taekwondo from a young age. When her parents pass away in a tragic car accident, she is taken in by Qu Xiang Nan (Vincent Chaio), a world champion martial artist who was disgraced when he was wrongly accused of doping 10 years ago. 

Little by little, Bai Cao learns to become a top taekwondo fighter. Along the way, she meets the selfless Ruo Bai (Yang Yang), playful Fang Ting Hao (Chen Xiang) and mysterious Yu Chu Yuan (Bai Jing Ting).

“Whirlwind Girl ” is a 2015 Chinese drama series directed by Cheng Zhi Chao. The second season, “Whirlwind Girl 2,” originally aired in 2016. The series also is known as “Tornado Girl” and “Tae Kwon Do Girl” and is based on a novel by Ming Xiao Xi.
