Kenta Kiritani is a Japanese actor. He was born in Osaka, Japan, on February 4, 1980, and made his acting debut in 1999. Since then, he has appeared in a wide variety of films and television dramas, including “Marigold in 4 Minutes” (2019).

Having worked as a paramedic for the past three years, Mikoto Hanamaki (Sota Fukushi) is no stranger to death. Well aware of how fragile life is, Mikoto’s familiarity with death is only heightened by his inexplicable ability to see the exact moment a person will die. Plagued by this knowledge and his inability to stop the cruel hand of death, Mikoto has no choice but to accept a person’s fate once he sees it.

Though Mikoto is fully aware of his inability to change a person’s fate, that doesn’t stop him from trying. Constantly attempting to help those whose future he sees, that drive is taken to an entirely new level when he realizes his beloved step-sister, Sara (Nanao) only has a year left to live.
