Nozomu Kotaki is a Japanese singer and actor who was born on July 30, 1996, in Osaka, Japan. He attended the Osaka Gakugei High School. He made his acting debut in 2009, appearing in a number of TV series titles as well as the 2009 movie “Samurai Tenkosei.” In 2014, he starred in the manga tie-in romance-themed drama “Close Range Love.” Also in 2014, he debuted as part of the all-male pop group Johnny’s West. More recently, he starred in the 2019 drama series “Hakui no Senshi!”

Yuni Kururugi (Nana Komatsu), an exceptional high school student struggling with English, begins one-on-one tutoring with her school's English teacher Haruka Sakurai (Tomohisa Yamashita). As they spend time together, a romantic connection slowly develops between them. Her relative and math teacher Kazuma Akechi (Arai Hirofumi) senses their growing intimacy and attempts to stop the tutoring. Complicating matters further, Yuni's new homeroom teacher Mirei Takizawa (Asami Mizukawa), who harbors her own feelings for Haruka, discovers their relationship and resolves to intervene. Based on the manga "Love's Reach" by Rin Mikimoto, this is a 2014 Japanese romantic drama directed by Naoto Kumazawa.
