Osamu Mukai is an award-winning Japanese actor. He was born in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, on February 7, 1982, and made his acting debut in 2006. Since then, he has appeared in a wide variety of films and television dramas, including “Why I Dress Up For Love” (2021).

As a successful publicist, Kurumi Mashiba (Haruna Kawaguchi) is proud of the work she has done thus far. Currently working for the interior design company, el Arco Iris, Kurumi has transformed the company’s social presence into a thriving community which adds new followers daily. While Kurumi loves her work, it does keep her busy; so busy, in fact, that she completely forgets that the contract on her apartment is about to expire.&nbsp;

Letting the contract expire, purely on accident, Kurumi has no choice but to find a new place to live. But with such a hectic schedule, she doesn’t have any time to start looking. Aware of her friend’s dilemma, Kouko Saotome (Yui Natsukawa) asks Kurumi to move in with her. Happy to accept Koko’s invitation, Kurumi wastes no time in moving in but is shocked when she realizes Koko actually lives in a luxury apartment shared by three other people: Shun Fujino (Ryusei Yokohama), a minimalist chef looking to live a simple life, Haruto Terai (Ryuhei Maruyama), an online counselor and Shun’s cousin, and Ayaka Hase (Anne Nakamura), an aspiring contemporary artist who works part-time as a delivery driver for a high-end supermarket.&nbsp;

With so many unique individuals living under the same roof, conflict is inevitable but working through their issues allows each housemate the chance to grow as individuals. As Kurumi begins to build real relationships with her housemates, the well-dressed armor she uses to protect herself begins to fall away, leaving her heart open for the most unexpected thing of all: love. As far as high school students go, Noboru Aihara (Taro Takeuchi) isn’t exactly one to stand out in a crowd. Having never attained any sort of popularity, Noboru might have spent the entirety of his high school career existing solely in the background, had not the school’s most popular guy, Shun Miyazaki (Asuka Kudo), changed everything.

Known throughout the school as the single most popular student, Shun Miyazaki is the one guy every girl wants to date; which is just fine by him. Unable to resist a pretty face, Shun is currently dating two girls: Hikaru Momose (Akari Hayami) and Tetsuko Kambayashi (Anna Ishibashi). Perfectly happy dating two very different girls at once, Shun’s only problem with the arrangement is keeping the girls apart. Despite his best efforts, Shun is unable to prevent the inevitable. Coming face-to-face with Tetsuko, while with Hikaru, Shun has to think fast to avert disaster. To save face, and his relationship with Tetsuko, Shun asks Noboru and Hikaru to pretend to be dating.

Agreeing to help Shun out, Noboru and Hikaru begin to act like a couple in front of others. Naturally, it doesn’t take long for Noboru to begin to develop feelings for Hikaru, but her heart still belongs to Shun. A fellow high school student on his way to take his college entrance exams, Kouhei and Sae hit it off almost immediately&nbsp;After letting Sae talk him into a horribly doomed plan to get to their exams on time, the two become fast friends. Supporting each other through the years, their feelings of friendship naturally grew into something more, but every time they tried to get closer, something always found a way to keep them apart.
