Shun Oguri is a Japanese actor who was born on December 26, 1982, in Tokyo, Japan. He started acting when he was aged just 13, when he appeared in the drama series “Hachidai Shogun Yoshimune” (1995). He has since appeared in scores of hit dramas and movies, including “Hana-Kimi” (2007) and “Segodon” (2018). He also starred in the 2020 movie “Godzilla vs. Kong.”

After announcing their engagement to the world, Tsukasa Domyoji (Jun Matsumoto) and Tsukushi Makino (Mao Inoue) are called to formally meet with their parents. During the meeting with Tsukasa’s parents, his mother presents Tsukasa with a beautiful tiara which is said to grant endless love to the owner and her partner. Touched by the gift, Tsukasa plans to cherish it forever but almost immediately after receiving it, the tiara is stolen.

Determined to find the thief and retrieve the tiara, Tsukasa and Tsukushi follow a trail of clues which leads them to a casino in Las Vegas. Realizing their odds of catching the thief on their own are slim, Tsukasa calls in the rest of the F4 to help. Arriving at the casino, Rui Hanazawa (Shun Oguri), Sojiro Nishikado (Shota Matsuda), and Akira Mimasaka (Tsuyoshi Abe) try to help in recovering the tiara but their arrival comes too late. Learning the tiara is to be sold on the black market in Hong Kong, the reunited friends head to Hong Kong but their plans to retrieve the tiara are thwarted once again.

Chasing the tiara from one side of the world to the other, Tsukasa, Tsukushi, and their friends are determined to get it back, but find that doing so is much easier said than done. With their eternal happiness on the line, will Tsukasa and Tsukushi be able to retrieve the tiara before the wedding or will their “happily ever after” be doomed before it even has a chance to start?

Mizuki Ashiya (Horikita Maki) is a female high school student and budding runner who has been studying abroad in the United States, but decides to transfer to a school in Osaka, Japan, so she can be near a student she idolizes the high jump athlete Izumi Sano (Oguri Shun). The problem is, the school he attends is an all-boys’ boarding school – meaning that she must disguise herself as a male in order to gain entry.

She cuts her hair short and manages to get into the school, even managing to become Izumi Sano’s roommate in his dormitory. But it is not long before people at the school start to learn Mizuki Ashiya’s secret, including her new roommate, who starts to develop feelings for her. Things get complex, however, when other classmates also start to fall for her – and when her brother comes to bring her back to the USA, all sorts of chaos appears ready to break loose!

This series was based on the 2004-2008 manga series of the same name, which was authored by Hisaya Nakajo.

It’s been a year since Domyouji Tsukasa (Jun Matsumoto) left for New York but Makino Tsukushi (Mao Inoue) refuses to accept his reasons for going alone. Following him to New York, Makino is convinced she’ll be able to find Domyouji and make him explain himself, but her adventures in New York turn out to be much different than those she had planned. Despite the difficulties she has upon arrival, Makino eventually has the chance to confront Domyouji, but all of her hopes of reconciliation are crushed by his cold demeanor.

Convinced Domyouji has changed completely, Makino returns to Japan heartbroken. Determined to erase all thoughts of and lingering feelings for Domyouji away completely, Makino focuses on her studies but no matter how hard she tries, fate seems determined to bring them back together in some of the cruelest ways possible. Unable to escape her seemingly unfortunate fate, Makino turns to Rui Hanazawa (Shun Oguri) for strength and comfort, a fact that doesn’t go unnoticed by Domyouji. Jealous of Rui and Makino’s growing relationship, Domyouji finds himself torn between his feelings for Makino and the duty he has to fulfill for the sake of his family.

Caught in a complicated web of broken hearts and new relationships, it seems as if Domyouji and Makino’s time together has truly ended. But fate, it would seem, hasn’t finished with them yet. Brought together one last time, will Makino and Domyouji finally have a chance to live happily ever after?
