Kotaro Yoshida is an award-winning Japanese actor and theater director. He was born in Tokyo, Japan, on January 14, 1959, and made his acting debut in 1985. Since then, he has appeared in a wide variety of theatrical productions, films, and television dramas, including “Ossan’s Love Season 1” (2018) and “Ossan’s Love Season 2” (2019).

Newlywed couple Soichi Haruta (Tanaka Kei) and Ryota Maki (Hayashi Kento) have been through a lot. They went from co-workers to lovers, surviving the perils of a love triangle with Soichi Haruta’s former boss Musashi Kurosawa (Yoshida Kotaro). In more recent times, they were kept apart by coronavirus pandemic-related travel restrictions. Ryota Maki found himself stuck in Sinagapore, and their relationship was forced to go long-distance.
